Is it a real phone call?
It rings full screen, even on your lock screen. It runs over your data connection, so there’s no phone number or roaming charge.
What if I’m a complete beginner?
Your first call finds your level. Your friend starts wherever you are, even if you only know “hola.”
What if I can’t answer?
Just decline. You’ll get a message instead, and your friend can catch you next time. You can also call them whenever you like.

Is my voice recorded?
Ordinary call audio is processed live and is not persistently stored by Filomou. Placement-call audio may be stored temporarily until assessment finishes or retries. Full text transcripts are kept only while needed to resume the session and produce its review, then deleted; the smaller learning results remain. The Privacy Policy explains the details.
